WELCOME!

     After having a lifelong battle with pornography (and especially with lust) I approached Dave to see if he could help me. My desire was to be rid of this burden entirely, forever. I wanted to be true to my faith and to honor my wife.

     I really appreciate that Dave was courageous in sharing his own story and being willing to help others with similar struggles. Working with Dave gave me valuable knowledge. It helped me understand how my brain works and why I think and act the way I do. Dave helped me create a vision for what I want in my life and he helped me understand how to retrain my brain. He also helped me become more aware of my feelings and how to channel the negative ones which are ever present.

     Having served in many leadership callings in my church, I am grateful for the knowledge I now have. It is knowledge I wished I had many years ago. Dave reminded me of my individual worth and the divine heritage I have. This is knowledge everyone could benefit from.

     I now feel greater confidence in my ability to deal appropriately with the thoughts and feelings that come. I am confident the path I am now on will lead to virtuous thoughts and the peace I was seeking.

      Over the last 5 years I have been actively attending recovery meetings and have met with multiple councilors. I found great support and healing through these efforts, but was still left feeling like there was something missing. No matter how hard I was trying, I felt like I wasn't getting into true recovery mode. At the best of times I only felt like I was abstaining from my negative habits. 

     While abstaining is a huge accomplishment in itself, true recovery takes place when we start to heal our minds by changing our perspectives of ourselves and the world around us. This is where my mind was when I started this program. 

     From my first session with Dave, I could tell this was different than other efforts I had attempted in the past. Dave focused on the root of my issues and helped me recognize negative self beliefs that were holding me back. 

     Next he gave me real, life-changing tools that I now use daily as I work to heal my mind by living intentionally. Dave is committed to this program and helping men heal. I am so grateful for my time working this program with Dave, it has truly changed my life.
